Portable Works Collection
Arlington Cultural Affairs Permanent Collection, the Portable Works Collection, consists of original wall-hung artworks created by tri-state artists. The purpose of the collection is to support regional artists and art making through the purchase and display of artwork, to introduce work by regional artist to the public and government staff, and to enhance and enliven the appearance of the government building interiors. Works in the portable collection can be viewed at the Cultural Affairs headquarters at 3700 South Four Mile Run Drive. Additional, recently purchased works are also on view at the County government headquarters at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard.
