Alfredo
Ratinoff: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Recent Works
February 1 – March 4, 2008
Ratinoff says:
“In creating this new series based on one of the most relevant creations
from Shakespeare, I wanted to bring magic into clay not only with materials,
glazes and colors, but also with the respect and love I feel for Shakespeare
and for the characters in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. I wanted my images to
be ageless, to capture the enigmatic quality of their existence, where
mystery survives.”

Paul Andrew Wandless
March 13 - April 19, 2008
Clay and printmaking have long been combined in various ways. Paul
Wandless's exhibition features clay work that incorporates or was fully
created with printmaking techniques. His technique, image transfer on clay,
is a new voice in the discourse of art utilizing the best of two mediums to
explore a new visual and tactile aesthetic.
